1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Facebook Video Downloader Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Facebook Video Downloader is a Chrome browser extension that enables users to download publicly accessible video content from Facebook, including regular videos, Reels, and Watch content. The Extension also provides audio extraction functionality.

3. Permitted Use

• You may use this Extension solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You may only download videos for which you have the legal right to download (e.g., your own content, or content with an appropriate Creative Commons license).
• You agree not to use the Extension to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• You are solely responsible for compliance with copyright and applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Prohibited Use

• Downloading copyrighted content without the rights holder's permission.
• Using downloaded content for commercial redistribution or monetization without authorization.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, modify, or circumvent the Extension's licensing or download-limit system.
• Using the Extension in any way that violates Facebook's Terms of Service or applicable laws.
• Creating automated scripts or bots to exploit the download functionality.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

The Extension offers both a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are processed via Stripe and are subject to the following:

• Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly plans - automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Lifetime plan - a one-time payment granting permanent access with no recurring charges.
• Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to local taxes where applicable.
• You may cancel a recurring plan at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Free Plan Limits

Free users are entitled to 10 downloads per day. This limit resets every 24 hours. Paid plans provide increased or unlimited daily download quotas as described on the pricing page.

7. Intellectual Property

The Extension, its code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of Imran Khan. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission. Content downloaded via the Extension remains the property of its respective copyright holders.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Extension will be available at all times, error-free, or compatible with all future versions of Chrome or Facebook's platform. Facebook may change their platform at any time in ways that affect the Extension's functionality.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Imran Khan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Extension constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
